”For The Road” being I feel the only great Tyga track in recent times, and the best track on the whole of the ”what the hell” feeling inducer of 13’s ”Hotel California. However I feel since the hits ”Careless World” brought him in the DJ Mustard launching ”Rack City” & ”Faded” Tyga has struggled to stand out as little more then a DECENT feature to a track. My second thought on the collaboration was ah! very clever of Tyga whom for me, is a lacklustre performer having seen him twice as a loyal YMCMB fan. ”turnt up tracks” and a nice Hip-Hop and R&B crossover, which due to the nature of an average Brown album singles aside, takes a search or the deluxe version. This is because of how much music I consume doing what I do the general way and what I look for in a Breezy track i.e. I thought cool ”This should be interesting as to me it hasn’t felt like all that long since Chris released the long awaited ”X” LP, when in fact in music terms it quite possibly has as Breezy’s 2 nd Billboard #2 album dropped 5 months ago! But it most likely feels this way because although I do own the album, as I have every Breezy release since ”10s” Fame (which included ”Fan Of Fan’s banger ”Deuces”) I have not had time to fully absorb ”X” outside of its singles ”Fine China” ”New Flame” ”Loyal” and my personal favourite album track ”Autumn Leaves” featuring K.Dot. (a look according to Breezy in a recent radio interview points to the album’s concept, ”when Hip-Hop was fun”) My initial reaction having seen the album cover that depicts the two 25 year old Rapper/Baby-daddies in full retro glory, that harks back to the early 90s colourful, afro-centric ”Kriss Cross” ”Tribe Called Quest” style. The release of ”Fan Of A Fan The Album” came as a surprise to me having only first heard about it on ”Hip-Hop DX”s release dates page, just before its release at the end of last month. Label:RCA/Cash Money/Young Money Entertainment/Republic Released:23 rd February 2015 (UK) & 24 th February 2015 (US) The Follow up to the 2010 DatPiff Double Platinum tape ”FAN OF A FAN”, the Album Showcases the best of two Artists while they put the ”FUN” back in to Hip-Hop”. ”Breezy and Tyga have come together once more, The result ”Fan of a ”Fan THE ALBUM.
